MARC is part of an umbrella organization known as the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/casa.sdsu.edu\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/casa.sdsu.edu\">Center for the Advancement of Students in Academia (CASA)<\/a>, which was launched in 1992 to promote the academic development of the next generation of UR research scientists and health professionals.<em>\u00a0<\/em>CASA, housed in the CoS, prevents \u201csiloing\u201d and promotes resource synergy by providing developmental activities and infrastructure.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) at SDSU Hear from some of our talented MARC Scholar (now alumni!)
